An agreement has been reached between "We Work" companies and cleaners over the employment of office cleaners at "We Work" properties.

"We Work," an office space company that provides shared offices to startups, made headlines over the summer when their janitors, who were contracted by a third party, tried to organize. After the organizing effort, "We Work" terminated the contract, effectively firing 100 workers.

As part of the new deal, "We Work" locations in New York and Boston will use only contractors that are union cleaners and the fired workers will be given preference in hiring.  A $250,000 fund has also been created for any cleaners that are not hired back.
