Papa John’s lost another lawsuit this week, this time for $2.1 Million in unpaid wages.  As part of NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s campaign against Papa John’s  and other fast food companies that are not paying their workers.  New Majority Holdings, the franchise that was sued, was found to have been paying less than the minimum wage and shaving hours off of workers’ paychecks.  This victory comes just weeks after Schneiderman settled a $800,000 lawsuit against another NYC Papa John’s franchisee.  The Attorney General has also stated that he will be attempting to hold the Papa John’s parent company responsible for franchisees who violate wage and hour laws.  Click here for more.
