Following Wal Mart's announcement that they will be raising wages for their workers, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Homegoods. (all owned by TJX Cos.)  Currently, workers in these three retailors make an estimated 8.24/hour.  This increase will mean that starting in June, all workers will be amking at least $9/hour and by 2016 all workers who have been there 6 months, will be paid $10/hour.  Experts say that this increase, along with the Walmart increase will lead other competitors to raise their wages.
