The balance of power on the Supreme Court will be decided in the coming weeks when nomination hearings for Trump’s nominee Neil Gorsuch occur. Conservative Gorsuch, will be the deciding vote on important cases like Yohn V. California Teacher, which will decide if public employee unions have the right to collectively bargain and collect dues.  Gorsuch will need 60 votes to be approved since Democrats can filibuster his nomination.

Today, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) kicked off a campaign to call your US Senators to demand that they vote against Gorsuch. Since Republicans need 60 votes, Democrats can’t afford to lose any votes. To generate calls to Senators, SEIU has set up a system where all you need to do is put in your phone number and address and you will receive a call that is automatically connected with your Senators office. It’s easy so click here to get started.

Here at UCOMM, we figured that since some of us live in Blue states with Senators who are almost assured to vote against Gorsuch, we would provide you with a list of Senators who could be pressured to vote for Gorsuch (Democrats in Red States) or against Gorsuch (Republicans in Blue or heavy union states.) Let all do our part and turn Gorsuch away like we did to Andy Puzder, Trump’s Labor Secretary nominee.
