Luntz makes us laugh

But after all was said and done, the fact is that dumb people still have the power

At the conclusion of the third and final Presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, CBS made me laugh even more.  While most of the country already knows who they’re voting for and tuned in for its entertainment value, somehow there are still some people who are undecided about the election.  I know; unbelievable right.

A recent poll by Rasmussen showed that 4% of the electorate is still undecided.  On CBS, pollster Frank Luntz held a focus group with 26 Nevada voters who were still undecided going into the debate. In a comical and energetic show, Luntz yelled at these voters who still haven’t made up their minds. Sporting a suit with sneakers, he be raided the deer in head lights focus group of undecided voters. Keep in mind they have been subject to ads and campaigning for the last 18 months and still have not made up their minds.  Something is in the water in Nevada.

One person in the audience even said that they just wanted more information on the candidates. Others said they couldn’t decide and just wanted more choices. We can’t make this shit up folks - watch the video by clicking it above.

While it is funny and very entertaining to watch these voters hem and haw over who to vote for, the truth is that swing states like Nevada, Ohio and Pennsylvania could determine the election and these 4% of voters will be the ones that determine whether Clinton or Trump are elected.  Saw what you will about them, in our wacky country their dense opinions and limited thought processes matter. They may also be the ones who decide whether the Democrats or Republicans control the Senate, thus determining whether or not a union friendly Supreme Court justice is put on the bench.

So now I guess it’s not so funny anymore. smh
