Ironworkers go to Congress
Why can't Congress agree to pass funding to repair America's crumbling bridges and roads? Its safe to say any person who has ever used a bridge is thankful it didn't collapse. This is common sense and Ironworkers President Walter Wise is speaking up for infrastructure maintenance now. The American Society of Civil Engineers has given our country's infrastructure a D+. But the Ironworkers aren't waiting to play politics; they know we need immediate relief. If construction unemployment and collapsing bridges won't force cooperation in Congress, what will?
