Connecting Trump to El Paso Mass Shooting

Would President Hillary Clinton have encouraged Patrick Crusius to drive to Walmart to shoot children?

Just days after one of the deadliest weekend’s in recent times, more is coming to light about the shooters involved in Saturday/Sunday’s mass shootings. One thing that is becoming clear though is that the shooter in El Paso was radicalized by Trump over the past few years.

A look into the shooter's social media shows that the clearly deranged man was a big fan of Trump. In a “manifesto” that was posted to 8chan just hours before the shooting began the shooter laid out that he was committing this act of domestic terrorism because he believed that he was defending the country from “cultural and ethnic replacement brought on by an invasion.” He said that “this attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas.”

While these views should be extremely disturbing, they are right on par with the belief of Trump and his supporters. Below is a video from a Trump rally in May where he appears to support calls for shooting immigrants as they cross the border.

Based on the shooter’s social media, he was clearly a follower of Trump. Below was a post that he retweeted with Trump’s name spelled out in guns.

He also filled his timeline with posts from disgraced Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, used alt-right language, and tweeted about building the wall.

As the El Paso shooter faces the death penalty and possible extradition to Mexico, another Trump terrorist found out his sentence on Monday. Cesar Sayoc, also know as the MAGA bomber, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sending pipe bombs to a number of Trump’s enemies including former President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.
