Workers at Time Warner have been worrying for the past 20 months that anti-union company will come in and buy the company.  After the sale of Time Warner to Comcast fell through, you might have thought that everyone was safe, but now Charter Communications is looking to buy Time Warner.  Since Time Warner has been trying to make themselves look good for a buyout, they have consistently worked to keep the profits up and costs down.  IBEW Local , which represents the workers, claim that they are not holding trainings and holding back promotions based on age.  They say Time Warner has even rpeplaced union members with non union managers.  Now Time Warner wants to merge with an even worse company towards workers.  Local 3 is asking that all Time Warner customers call the company and demand the proper service and trained technicans to service their customer service complaints. Time Warner can be reached at 1 (800) 892-4357.

Listen to UCOMM Radio this week for more on this important issue.  Check back on Monday June 15th for a portion of our interview with Lance Van Arsdle from IBEW Local 3.
