Oil Worker Strike is No Mas

After 4 months the last United Steel Workers local has agreed to a contract. The 1,175, workers who are from the Galveston Bay Marathon Refinery, will return to work on July 6th ending a strike over unfair and unsafe labor practices that began in February. Since February 15 location across the country went on strike to protest unsafe working conditions since 15 people were killed and 170 were injured in an explosion in 2005. The USW said that this was the largest Chemical and Refinery strike in 35 year
