Scabbies making deliveries

Unionized truck drivers in Scotia NY went on strike this week to protest a change in who would pay for health insurance in their new contract with Cranesville Ready mix. The company is trying to force new employees to pay $150 a week in health insurance coverage. According to shop steward Bill Latulipe for Teamsters Local 294, the company told them that this was their final offer and they should take it or leave it and so the workers walked out. While the workers are out, the company is using scabs to make deliveries.
