Voice Actors Make Noise
Voice actors who work for some of the largest video game companies may be going on strike if a contract is not reached by October 5. The voice over actors, who are SAG-AFTRA Members, preform for Activision, EA Sports, Disney and other video game companies. One of the key sticking points is bonuses for voice actors in games that sell more than 2 million, 4 million, 6 million and 8 million games. The union said that the companies are trying to use staff, that are non-union, as voices.
